MBS Survey Software Ltd takes its Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) very seriously, and has a stringent policy in place to ensure that our impact on our staff, clients, society as a whole and the environment is a positive one.

We pride ourselves on our relationships with the communities in which we work and recruit our people from.

We are committed to delivering our software solutions and services to a consistent standard which fulfils clients’ requirements and provides “value for money” to our clients. We will comply with all regulatory requirements, follow “best practice” and always encourage innovation.

We will manage our use of all resources including people, work environment, information, suppliers, natural and financial resources to ensure their effective use.

We strive to encourage good employee and business relations.

We recognise that our business activities have direct and indirect impacts on the society in which we operate. We endeavour to manage these to the best of our ability in a responsible manner, understanding that sound and demonstrable performance in relation to corporate social responsibility practices is a fundamental part of our business success.

We are committed to continuous improvement in our corporate social responsibility and encourage all our staff to embrace and meet their individual social, environmental and ethical responsibilities whilst improving their business performance and client focus.

The Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires all employers with 5 employees or more to have a written Health & Safety Policy.

Our policy ensures the health & safety of our employees and helps them to carry out their work effectively and efficiently.

For our sub-contractors

It ensures that we do not compromise the Health & Safety Performance of our sub-contractors, helps to ensure that no time is lost or unforeseen costs incurred due to adverse health & safety performance on a project, and contributes to ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to budget with no interventions from enforcing bodies.

For the Practice

As an employer we must comply with legislation; in addition our Policy gives us the assurance that we consider the Health & safety of all who might be affected by our work. In contributes to us attracting, training and retaining competent staff.

At MBS Survey Software Ltd We understand our role in providing sustainable solutions and to minimise the impact our business has on the environment.

The success of our business stems from a philosophy that combines creativity with practical solutions, commitment with an ambition to be the best.

We aim to reduce our power consumption this year by 10%. Our staff are reminded of the need to turn off lights, photocopiers, printers and computers when not in use. We are continually striving to become more energy efficient, with all our PC's using LCD monitors and energy efficient lighting.

The majority of our staff live within short distances of our offices. Walking, cycling and use of public transport is encouraged.

We endeavour to make business journeys by train were feasible.

We manage our office waste by recycling as much paper, cardboard, bottles etc. We are reducing our usage of paper by use of email and digital means to transfer information between our offices, clients and business colleagues.
